East End Community Club Soccer

East End Community Club Soccer is where Transcona families register for outdoor youth soccer. The program runs under Phoenix FC's SQS umbrella, the national Canada Soccer quality standard for community clubs, and is also WYSA-affiliated. Registration, team formation, and game scheduling are handled locally by East End rather than by Phoenix, so Transcona kids stay in their own neighbourhood for sign-up and play. The 2026 outdoor season runs from late April through late June, with playoffs into mid-July for older divisions and a season-end jamboree on June 27 and 28.

Programs run from U7 Mini through U18 Recreational, with the U7 division playing 5v5 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Fees range from $175 for U7 Mini up to $230 for U17 and U18 Recreational; each fee includes a $10 admin fee (non-refundable) and a $14 City of Winnipeg field user fee. East End is not running Mini or Micro programming for ages 3 to 6 in 2026, so families with younger players will need to look at other community clubs this season. Game cancellations are announced on CJOB radio at 4:25 PM and 5:25 PM on game days.

East End is best suited to Transcona and east-end families looking for a structured but recreational outdoor program at community-club fees. Players who eventually want a more competitive path can move into the broader Phoenix FC programming as they age up. Financial assistance is available through KidSport Canada and the Canadian Tire JumpStart Grant for families who qualify.
