FC Northwest Soccer Club

FC Northwest Soccer Club was formed in July 2008 to replace the North West Youth Soccer Association under a unified governance model. The club draws from 13 community centres across north Winnipeg, with Recreational players registering through their home community centre. FC Northwest plays in green, gold, and white, colours carried over from predecessor Northern Light S.C.

Grassroots (U8 to U10) runs May to June and August to September, with one or two training sessions plus a festival matchday per week. Recreational (U9 to U17) runs outdoor May to June with a Jamboree in early July, and indoor November to March. Developmental (U11 to U12) requires assessments and follows the One Season Model from February to October. Premier (U13 to U17) selects players annually for the Manitoba Provincial Program. Senior Men's and Women's programs are also offered.

Registration paths vary by tier: Grassroots and Recreational players can register through their home community centre, while Developmental requires attending tryouts. Financial assistance is available through KidSport Canada, the Canadian Tire JumpStart Grant, and the FC Northwest Player Subsidy Program.
