Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex
Verified May 3, 2026Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex is an outdoor facility at 900 Waverley Street, managed by the Winnipeg Soccer Federation. The complex has two lit synthetic turf fields, natural grass areas, covered team shelters, and a clubhouse with four dressing rooms and public washrooms.
About
The complex was renamed on June 12, 2016 in honour of Ralph Cantafio, described by WSF as the father of modern soccer in Manitoba. John Scouras Field measures 68 by 105 metres and seats over 2,000 spectators, with a press box, sound system, and scoreboard. The complex hosted Canadian and US Women's National Teams in 2013 and was a practice facility for teams at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Fields are available for rent from April to November. A $3 daily admission fee applies for spectators and non-official personnel; seniors 65 and over, children under 18, and anyone attending WYSA games enter free. If a ball goes over the fence into the adjacent water treatment plant, do not enter; it is private City of Winnipeg property, and WSF staff will retrieve it. For field rental inquiries, call 204-953-4747 Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
