South Winnipeg Community Centre Soccer

About
South Winnipeg Community Centre Soccer is a recreational program operating from two south Winnipeg locations: the Fort Richmond Community Centre (666 Silverstone Avenue) and the Waverley Heights Community Centre (1885 Chancellor Drive). SWCC works closely with Whyte Ridge, St. Norbert, and Lindenwoods when forming teams. Programs span Timbits Mini Soccer and Youth Soccer covering divisions U3 to U18, with all teams led by parent volunteer coaches; without sufficient volunteers, players get transferred out.
The 2025-26 indoor season ran from November 2 to March 17 for U9 to U18, with fees of $395 plus a $39 MSA fee ($434 total). The 2026 outdoor season runs May 5 to June 29 for U8 to U12 and May 5 to June 27 for U13 to U18, with playoffs July 7 to 18; outdoor fees range from $229 (U8 to U10) up to $294 (U15 to U18), each including the $54 MSA fee.
Registration for the 2026 outdoor season runs March 1 to March 21. SWCC's subsidy program is available for families meeting Revenue Canada LICO criteria; apply at the Fort Richmond Community Centre 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, at least two weeks before season start.
